Our Maintenance Organization

ProMedical’s technical maintenance services cover maintenance for the software and equipment we provide, as well as periodic inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturers’ maintenance programs. Professional maintenance services also enable the compliant installation of the software and equipment we deliver. Our maintenance organization offers our customers an excellent level of service for the entire product range.

Our service engineer, Santeri Rantamäki, performs routine maintenance, contract maintenance, and repairs for your equipment, as well as provides technical support. In addition to this, our maintenance organization includes eight Nordic Service Group service engineers trained by our equipment manufacturers to service the products we represent. If you require urgent technical support or maintenance, our authorized service representatives will assist you with an immediate response and begin resolving the issue.

In Finland, ProMedical has six service points, which expedite assistance and resolution of faults. Our authorized services are located in Helsinki, Vantaa, Tampere, Kuopio, Oulu, and Savonlinna, and we also offer services in the Åland Islands region. For more complex faults, ProMedical has access to a comprehensive service network for the products we represent. Modern equipment can often be connected remotely to the manufacturer’s service, allowing for system maintenance to be easily performed over the network.

We offer contract and preventive maintenance for our products as needed. Our products typically come with a minimum one-year warranty, but warranty periods can be extended for many products if additional coverage is desired. ProMedical also regularly trains its customers and maintenance personnel in the maintenance and fault diagnostics of the purchased products. Maintenance training is provided on a purchase basis, either as a paid service or included in the purchase price. We work closely with our customers’ maintenance and IT personnel to ensure that our installed base of equipment remains in good condition and up to date.

 

Our Maintenance Services

Scheduled Maintenance Service

Medical devices should always be serviced according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The manufacturer-defined scheduled maintenance is included in the price of the device we supply during the warranty period, and we perform maintenance on the medical devices we supply according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Maintenance includes measurements specified in the device-specific scheduled maintenance program, replacement of designated parts, cleaning, calibration, and electrical safety testing.

Service Contracts

We also tailor various levels of service contract packages for our customers to meet their needs and provide predictability to maintenance costs. Service contracts ensure a long lifecycle for devices and improve device performance by covering the costs of unplanned repairs and inspections.

Repair Service

ProMedical’s maintenance organization is flexible and responsive when your device experiences a malfunction. We primarily perform repairs on the medical devices we supply at our customers’ facilities. If necessary, the device can also be sent to our service point for repairs. In case of malfunctions, we always provide a comprehensive cost estimate before performing the maintenance.

Spare Parts Service

The manufacturer of medical devices determines the types of spare parts that can and should be used in the devices. In our maintenance of all medical devices we supply, we use original spare parts from our device manufacturers, as it is the safest option from the perspective of user and patient safety and compliance. Our customers’ trained service engineers can also install spare parts themselves, and we promptly deliver original spare parts from our stock to our customers. Depending on the situation, we order required spare parts from suppliers who can provide them quickly.
